Glenfarclas Scotch Whisky
The story of Glenfarclas is as rich and colorful as the whisky that bears its name. It’s the story of a family, the Grants, who since 1865 are united by the same desire: to create a perfect and pure Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Highlands.
Glenfarclas, or the Valley of Green Grass, is nestled at the foot of the Ben Rinnes mountain where spring water gushes forth, which is then transformed by Glenfarclas into eau de vie. The unforgettable aroma of Glenfarclas Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the result of a selection of the best ingredients and traditional distillation methods. It is said that the secret of Glenfarclas is in its spring water, in the quality of the malted barley, in the immense copper alembic pot stills, and in the magic of the Highland air. It is also said that the unique character of Glenfarclas comes from its many years spent maturing in the best sherry casks.
Still today, the Glenfarclas distillery is an independent, family-run business. These single malt whiskies, exclusively aged in sherry casks, set themselves apart with their roundness, finesse, and complexity.
