Seña

A fusion between Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick

Seña

Seña is an international joint venture between American winemaker Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick, Owner and President of Viña Errázuriz in Chile. In 1995, both of them realised this shared dream: creating a world-class Icon Level Chilean wine, with the first vintage of Seña.

After four years searching for the best terroir, Robert Mondavi and Eduardo Chadwick chose a virgin land on the west side of the Valle de Aconcagua, an ideal place located from the Atacama Desert to the Patagonian Ice Field, and between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean. Most of the varieties planted come from France, such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Since 2005, Seña’s vineyard is farmed as biodynamic agriculture. This choice came from the desire to make wines that express their place of origin, whom grapes have unique characteristics, personality and quality.
